The Tem-Cats knocked seven extra-base hits, half of which were home runs, and used a mammoth seven-run fourth inning as a springboard to a 14-8 victory to open District 12-6A play Tuesday night at Killeen Shoemaker.
Brooke Knox launched two homers and picked up the win in a complete game in the circle and Kaegan Yepma had a homer and double to lead four players with multiple hits for Temple (7-6-1).
Nicole Clemente finished 4-for-4 with a long ball to lead all players in a losing effort for the Lady Grey Wolves (10-4).
