COLLEGE STATION - The Temple junior varsity girls soccer team had a solid performance in their first tournament action of the season as they went 1-1-1 over three games.
In their opener on Thursday, the Tem-Cats tied Kempner 0-0 with standout performances from Elliana Vriseno and Ella Havis.
On Friday they defeated A&M Consolidated 2-0 with goals from Paulina Garlic and Estrelle Puga. Hannah Arroyo was credited for having an outstanding game playing both midfielder and defender.
In their final game on Saturday, the Tem-Cats fell to Royal 3-0. Claire Snider had 10 saves in goal while Ilana Desales was a strong defender.
Temple will return to action on Thursday in the Crowley Tournament.
