COLLEYVILLE - The Tem-Cat basketball team closed out play in the Colleyville Heritage Tipoff Classic on Saturday with a 39-30 victory over Keller Central in the 7th Place game.

The Tem-Cats were led by a pair of seniors in Dawn Smith with 13 points and Dejah Thomas with 12 points. Smith tallied three 3-pointers, 5 rebounds 2 assist, 2 steals and a block while Thomas 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks.

Also for Temple, Tierney Perkins had 5 points, 3 assist, 3 rebounds; Jesse Johnson 4 points, 7 rebounds; Jayla Govan 3 points, 2 rebounds and Kendall Tate with 2 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals.

Temple extended their win streak to two games and will return to play on Tuesday with a road game at Robinson beginning at 7:00 pm.
