KILLEEN - The Tem-Cat freshman volleyball team hoped to carry the momentum from Tuesday's victory into Friday's match at Killeen Shoemaker, however, a slow start forced the Tem-Cats to play from behind and dropped their match a Shoemaker 25-12, 27-25.

Claire Snider had a team high 7 digs while Madyson Combs had 4 assist, 2 digs and 2 kills.

Als for the Tem-Cats, Delilah Lara had 5 digs, Emory Corley 3 aces, 2 digs, 2 assist, 2 kills; Aniysa Villela 3 digs, 2 assist; Bryelle Lewis 2 digs, kill, ace; Lyric Skinner 2 digs, kill and Reiana Jerome 2 aces, kill, dig.

Temple is now 14-8 on the season and (1-4) in district play will travel to Bryan on Tuesday to take on the Lady Vikings beginning at 5:00 pm.
