The Tem-Cat freshman volleyball team defeated Killeen Ellison in their home opener on Tuesday by a score of 25-21, 25-25, 15-10.

Madyson Combs led the Tem-Cats with a solid performance of 4 kills,5 assist, 3 digs and an ace while Bryelle Lewis posted 4 digs, 3 kills and an ace.

Also for the Tem-Cats, Isabell Alcoser had4 assist, 2 digs, kill, 2 aces; Emory Corley 4 digs, 2 assist, kill, ace; Claire Snider 5 digs, ace; Cykhiah White 2 kills; Delilah Lara 3 digs and Reliana Jerome with 5 digs.

Temple is now 13-4 on the season and will begin district play on Friday with a road match at Copperas Cove beginning at 5:00pm.
