Tem-Cats go 1-2 on Day 2 of the Legends Invitational

BRYAN - The Tem-Cat Volleyball team went 1-2 on Day 2 of the Legends Invitational in Bryan.

In their opening match, the Tem-Cats fell to Montgomery by a score of 25-19, 25-20. Kendall Tate paced the Tem-Cats 9 assist, 6 digs and 3 blocks while Taylor Regula had team high 5 kills. Also for Temple, Kylie Rayas 10 digs and Arianna Mascari with 4 digs.

Game 2 saw the Tem-Cat defeat district rival Killeen Shoemaker 25-13, 25-18. Kendall Tate had another strong match with 13 assist, 9 digs, 4 aces. With 5 kills each were Taylor Regula, Dawn Smith and Kylie Dixon. Kylie Rayas also recorded 6 digs and 3 assist.

In the final match, Temple fell to a very strong Conroe Oak Ridge by a score of 25-10, 25-10. Kylie Rayas posted 9 digs while Kendall Tate had 7 digs and 4 assist and Arianna Mascari with 4 digs. Oak Ridge improved to 21-4 on the season.

Temple (13-13) will enter bracket play on Saturday with a rematch with Caney Creek at 11:00 am in the Silver Bracket.
