The elements are there for Temple and Lake Belton to become fast rivals now that they share a district. The pair met on the volleyball court Tuesday to get the ball rolling in that department.

Kendall Tate threw down a match-best 12 kills after she recently recorded her 1,000th career assist, and Willow Pratt followed with six kills to help the Tem-Cats (20-15, 3-2) post a key victory in the District 12-6A race.
