With the regular season in the rearview mirror, Temple, Belton and Lake Belton — along with several other area schools — can take their first steps in what they hope will be deep runs in the UIL volleyball playoffs.

The Tem-Cats, Lady Tigers and Lady Broncos are all in action tonight in the bi-district round of their respective classifications, with the winners advancing to next week’s area round.
