In the midst of a hot stretch the last couple of weeks, Temple aimed to keep its run going as it approached the closing point of the first half of league play.
The Wildcats did so by pouring on the offense right away then waiting out Copperas Cove the rest of the way en route to recording a 5-0 victory in a District 12-6A match.
Jean Carlo Bautista Esmerelda contributed each of Temple’s first two goals and assisted on its third to help his team build a big gap less than 15 minutes into the first half.
