KILLEEN - The Temple Tem-Cat soccer team opened District 12-6A play on Wednesday evening with a 6-0 victory over Killeen Shoemaker.

The offensive production from the Tem-Cats came from Kenyah Walker and Bella Mitchan with a pair of goals each while Patience Savage and Sterling Griffith each recorded a goal for Temple.

Defensive standouts for the Tem-Cats were Lenora Wright and Yaritza Rodriguez.

The Tem-Cats 1-0, will have a bye on Friday before returning to play next Tuesday when they will host Midway at the Temple Soccer Complex beginning at 7:15 pm.
