KILLEEN - The Tem-Cat basketball team a hard fought 40-33 victory over Killeen High on the road Tuesday evening. Led by Dawn Smith's team high 14 points, the Tem-Cat improved their district record to 2-3 on the season

Smith not only tallied 14 points but also grabbed 10 rebounds had 2 steals and one assist. She also had help from Paris Morris with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks while Dejah Thomas had 8 points, 12 rebounds and 2 steals.

Also for the Tem-Cats, Jayla Govan with 6 points , 4 rebounds, Kendal Tate 2 points; Tierney Perkins 1 point5 assist, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and Jessie Johnson with 3 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal.

Temple will return to action on Friday when they will host Killeen Shoemaker (3-2) at Wildcat Gym beginning at 7:00 pm.
