The Temple Wildcat soccer team closed out play in their own Temple Wildcat Kickoff Classic on Saturday with a 6-1 victory over Jarrell.

Temple jumped out to a 3-0 lead on goals from Javier Orzua in the 4th minute, Alejandro Soto Quinones 28th minute and Brian De Fonseca Cuellar in the 29th minute.

Alejandro Soto Quinones earned his second goal in the 44th minute followed by Santiago Chavez 50th minute and Arik Diaz in the 67th minute.

Arik Diaz recorded two assist with Blake Thomas, Daniel Lopez Pompa and Alejandro Soto Quinones each being credited with an assist.

Temple will return to action on Friday in the Bastrop Tournament with a pair of games scheduled.
