TEMPLE — Temple generated momentum with a key road win a week ago, and the Tem-Cats have rolled since, right to the edge of the playoff picture.
Kendall Tate, Dawn Smith, Kylie Dixon and company made sure to stay there Tuesday at Wildcat Gym.
Tate had a match-high 18 assists to go with seven kills, Smith put up seven kills and seven digs and Dixon hammered down a match-leading 10 kills as Temple controlled Killeen Shoemaker from the start to record a 25-10, 25-23, 25-19 sweep in a District 12-6A match to claim its third straight victory and second sweep in a row.
