KILLEEN - The Temple Tem-Cat volleyball team earned a 12-6A road victory on Friday evening as they defeated Killeen Shoemaker by a score of 25-14, 25-10, 25-15. The win extended their win streak to two games and improved their district record to 2-3.
Dawn Smith had a strong match for the Tem-Cats having a team best 11 kills while also recording a block, 5 digs and 3 aces.
Also with a strong offensive night was Kylie Dixon with 8 kills and 5 aces while Kendall Tate had 7 kills, 12 assist and 4 blocks.
Dejah Thomas recorded 4 kills, 2 blocks; Willow Pratt 3 kills, Taylor Regula 2 kills, 5 digs; Madison Sapp - 6 digs, Kylie Rayas a team high 17 assist, 3 aces, 2 digs; Keagan Bankston 4 digs.
Temple 16-19 overall returns to plat on October 1 with a road match at Bryan beginning at 6:00 pm.
