Wildcats prepare for first road matchup against San Antonio Reagan

Two games into the football season, the Temple Wildcats still are attempting to identify who they are and lock down what kind of team they have.

On the positive side, Temple has scored 35 first-quarter points in home battles against Mexican opponent Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and Round Rock, and the Wildcats have been a big-play bunch, with six of their nine touchdowns covering 30-plus yards.

On the negative side, Temple has been outscored 40-0 in the third quarter and produced only 14 second-half points overall. In addition, the Wildcats have thrown four interceptions, lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown and have been plagued by execution problems in the punting game.
