On the positive side, Temple has scored 35 first-quarter points in home battles against Mexican opponent Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and Round Rock, and the Wildcats have been a big-play bunch, with six of their nine touchdowns covering 30-plus yards.
On the negative side, Temple has been outscored 40-0 in the third quarter and produced only 14 second-half points overall. In addition, the Wildcats have thrown four interceptions, lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown and have been plagued by execution problems in the punting game.
