In most ways, Kirk Gildon III is like many high school students. The Temple senior is a hard-working athlete who strives to make good grades. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, playing video games and fishing.
In one big way, however, Gildon is unlike almost all of his classmates. At 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, the second-year starting right tackle for the Wildcats offense cuts a towering, imposing figure both on campus and the football field.
Gildon said that constantly being the largest person in his grade while growing up has presented a mixed bag of experiences.
