BELTON — The Temple High Varsity Boys Cross Country team hit the course at Heritage Park on Tuesday morning for the Pro-Fit Last Chance Invitational. Serving as the final tune-up before the postseason, the 3-mile race featured a competitive 16-team field as runners made their final preparations ahead of district competition.

The Wildcats posted a team score of 271 points to finish 11th overall, led by a standout performance from senior Titus Tamez. Killeen Ellison claimed the varsity boys team title with 85 points, while Liberty Hill’s Zander Radziwon captured the individual title, crossing the line in a blistering time of 15:27.85.
