ENNIS, Texas — The Temple High Varsity Boys Cross Country team delivered a commanding performance on Saturday morning, placing first overall at the Ennis Lions Den Invitational. Behind a dominant pack-running strategy and four Top 10 individual finishes, the Wildcats tallied a low score of 42 points to capture the team crown, finishing ahead of Mesquite (57 points) and Corsicana (78 points).

Leading the charge for the Wildcats were Titus Tamez and Joe Vargas, who secured second and third place overall to spearhead Temple's team effort. All runners placing in the Top 20 earned individual medalist honors. Temple placed four runners inside the Top 10 to seal the team victory.
