TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple High Swim team opened its season on Tuesday evening, hosting Killeen Chaparral and Stafford in a competitive tri-meet at the Hardin Swim Center at Temple High School. The opening meet featured strong individual performances across multiple events, highlighted by a victory from junior Jacob Corbin and several top-three finishes.

Top Performance Highlights

Jacob Corbin (Junior) led the Wildcats with a first-place finish in the Mixed 50 Yard Backstroke. Corbin also secured 3rd place in the Mixed 50 Yard Freestyle and 4th place in the Mixed 50 Yard Butterfly.

Jase Mayo (Senior) turned in a standout night across multiple events, taking 2nd place in both the Mixed 50 Yard Freestyle and the Mixed 100 Yard Breaststroke, alongside a 3rd-place finish in the Mixed 100 Yard IM.

Elizabeth Flowers (Freshman) captured 2nd place in the Mixed 100 Yard Backstroke.

Abhi Prakash (Freshman) put together a versatile performance, taking 5th place in three events: the Mixed 200 Yard Freestyle, Mixed 50 Yard Butterfly, and Mixed 100 Yard Breaststroke.

Miller Epperson (Junior) posted impressive exhibition swims across three events, leading Temple swimmers in the 100 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Freestyle, and 100 Yard Breaststroke.

Boys Relay Teams took 3rd place in both the 200 Yard Medley Relay and the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
