TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple High Junior Varsity Boys Cross Country team hit the 3-mile course at Wilson Park on Friday morning to host and compete in the ProFit Invitational.

Leading the way for the Wildcats was junior Weston Ricks, who captured 27th place overall with a time of 21:41.89.

Though no Wildcats broke into the Top 20 individually at this competitive meet, seven Temple runners put together strong efforts across the field:
