BELTON - Friday night football returns with a high-stakes neutral-ground showdown as the Temple Wildcats take on the Georgetown Eagles in their highly anticipated season opener.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Crusader Stadium on the campus of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton. Operating as the visiting team on the scoreboard, the Wildcats are set to set the tone for the campaign ahead in one of Central Texas’s premier collegiate venues.

Directions & Parking Guide

Plenty of parking is available across the UMHB campus within walking distance of Crusader Stadium. Review the following routes depending on your direction of travel:

Arriving from the West (Hwy 190)
Take the Loop 121 exit and head North.
Turn right onto Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and travel East toward UMHB.
Turn left onto University Drive for permit-required parking, or continue East on MLK Jr. Ave to reach open campus lots.

Arriving from I-35 Northbound (Austin, Georgetown, Salado)

Option 1: Take the Loop 121 exit near the Bell County Expo Center and head West (crossing under Hwy 190 to head North). Turn right on MLK Jr. Ave and travel East. Turn left on University Drive for permit lots or continue East for open lots.

Option 2: Take the 6th Street exit West to Main Street. Turn right on Main St, heading North toward campus. Turn left on MLK Jr. Ave West to access open lots, or turn right on University Drive for permit-required lots.

Arriving from I-35 Southbound (Temple, Waco, DFW)

Take the 6th Street exit West to Main Street.
Turn right on Main Street and head North to campus.
Turn left on MLK Jr. Ave to find open parking lots along the West side, or turn right on University Drive for permit parking.

To ensure a quick security entry, all bags will be searched at the gates. Crusader Stadium strictly prohibits the following items:
