The Temple Tem-Cat Track & Field team has officially solidified its status as a bona fide dynasty. Fresh off capturing their fourth consecutive district championship, the Tem-Cats put an exclamation point on their stellar 2026 season as the District 12-6A All-District awards were announced.
Temple dominated the postseason awards, taking home the lion's share of individual superlatives, top-tier team selections, and crucial academic honors.
The Ultimate Superlatives
Leading the charge for the Tem-Cats was Damauria Nolan-Hemphill, who earned the prestigious title of District MVP for her exceptional contributions to the team's historic run.
Temple’s coaching staff was also rightfully recognized for orchestrating this multi-year reign, with Tamica Lavan being named the District 12-6A Coach of the Year.
The Tem-Cats also showcased unmatched depth across every discipline, locking down nearly every specialized superlative on the board:
MVP of Sprints: Audrey Troup (21 points)
MVP of Distance: Analisa Terry & Maya Ramirez (18 points each)
MVP of Throws: Bella Jenkins (16 points)

The Tem-Cats proved that their drive for excellence extends far beyond the track and field sectors. Seven student-athletes earned Academic All-District honors for balancing their championship athletic schedules with elite performance in the classroom.
