MEXIA, TX — The postseason has arrived, and the Temple Wildcats are ready to make their mark on the 2026 UIL Class 6A Division II soccer playoffs. Temple will travel to Mexia High School this Thursday, March 19th, to face off against the Waxahachie Indians in a high-stakes Bi-District round matchup.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm, serving as the nightcap of a championship-caliber doubleheader.
The Matchup
Temple enters the bracket as the No. 4 seed from Region II, District 12-6A. Throughout a rigorous regular season, the Wildcats (7-12-5 overall, 4-4-4 in district) have proven they can grind out results in tight windows, relying on a disciplined defensive structure and opportunistic counter-attacking.
They meet a formidable Waxahachie squad that claimed the No. 2 seed out of District 11-6A.
