BELTON – The Temple Tem-Cat Track & Field team put on a dominant display of speed and stamina this past Saturday at Tiger Field, securing a 2nd Place finish in the overall team standings at the Denise Petter Big Red Relays.

Temple amassed an impressive 147 points, trailing only Georgetown East View (177) in a competitive field. Leander rounded out the top three with 93 points. The Tem-Cats’ performance was highlighted by a string of gold-medal finishes across sprints, distance events, and relays, proving their depth as they head into the heart of the season.

The Gold Standard: Highlights and Medalists

Temple’s "speed squad" was the story of the day, sweeping both the 4x100 and 4x200 relays with the powerhouse quartet of Damauria Nolan-Hemphill, Aniya Brumet, Kyera Banks, and Audrey Troup. Their precision handoffs and explosive pace earned them top honors in both events.

Individual brilliance was also on full display:

Analisa Terry was a distance dynamo, capturing 1st Place in both the 1600m and the 3200m. Her 3200m performance was particularly noteworthy, as she clocked a personal record of 11:54.87.

Kylee Dupar dominated the hurdles, taking home 1st Place in the 300m hurdles (45.82) and adding a bronze in the 100m hurdles.

Damauria Nolan-Hemphill proved she is one of the fastest in the region, sprinting to 1st Place in the 100 meters with a time of 12.36.
