TEMPLE, TX — In a defensive stalemate at the Temple Soccer Complex, the Temple Wildcat Junior Varsity White team dropped a narrow 1-0 decision to the Harker Heights Knights on Tuesday evening.
The match served as the finale for the first half of district play, a stretch defined by parity and physical competition across District 12-6A.

Defensive Duel at the Complex

From the opening whistle, both squads prioritized defensive positioning, limiting clear-cut scoring opportunities for much of the night. Temple’s backline remained resilient under pressure, but a lone breakthrough by the Knights proved to be the difference-maker. Despite several late-game pushes by the Wildcats to find an equalizer, the Harker Heights defense held firm to secure the clean sheet.

Mid-Season Standings

With the loss, the Wildcats conclude the first rotation of district competition with a balanced record.
