(TEMPLE ) - The Temple Tem-Cat junior varsity soccer team defended their home turf with authority on Friday evening, securing a 2-0 victory over the Copperas Cove Lady Bulldawgs at the Temple Soccer Complex.

From the opening whistle, the Tem-Cats controlled the tempo, utilizing a stifling defense and a persistent attack to keep Cove on their heels. The breakthrough came via Elli Vreseno, who found the back of the net to give Temple the early momentum. Yuridia Rodriguez later doubled the lead, providing the insurance goal that effectively sealed the result for the home side.

Key Performance: Aubrey Magnus

While the offense provided the fireworks, the steady play of Aubrey Magnus earned her Player of the Match honors. Magnus was instrumental in navigating the midfield and disrupting Cove’s attempts to mount a comeback, ensuring the clean sheet remained intact for the Tem-Cats.
