Temple has played sparingly few matches at home to this point, but the time the Tem-Cats have spent under the lights of Temple Soccer Complex thus far has been good to them.
That trend continued Friday night.
Temple opened its home schedule with a rout of Killeen Shoemaker last week and followed that with an 8-0 victory over Killeen in a District 12-6A meeting Friday to stay undefeated through two matches at their home confines this season.
Avery Perez and Alaina Flores each contributed hat tricks while Sterling Griffith and Kenyah Walker accounted for the remaining two goals for the Tem-Cats, who built a 3-0 halftime lead then cruised in the second half to post the mercy-rule outcome with 16:11 to spare.
