TEMPLE, TX — The Temple Wildcat junior varsity soccer team faced a tough test Thursday night at the Temple Soccer Complex, falling to a potent Midway squad by a final score of 6-1.

Despite the lopsided result, the Wildcats showed flashes of offensive chemistry against a disciplined Midway defense. Temple’s lone goal of the evening came courtesy of Giovanni Nava-Cisneros, who found the back of the net after a well-timed delivery from Velente Rodelo. Rodelo was credited with the assist on the play, providing a bright spot for the home crowd.

Midway’s high-octane attack proved difficult to contain throughout the match. The Panthers established control early, utilizing quick transitions and clinical finishing to build a lead that the Wildcats were unable to overcome.
