TEMPLE, TX — The Temple Wildcat Junior Varsity White soccer team faced a tough challenge Thursday evening at the Temple Soccer Complex, falling to the Midway Panthers by a final score of 4-1.
Despite the deficit, the Wildcats showed flashes of offensive chemistry midway through the contest. Temple found the back of the net when Jose Rocha capitalized on a well-placed delivery from Damian Garcia. Garcia’s assist allowed Rocha to tuck the ball past the Midway keeper, providing a momentary spark for the home crowd.
The Panthers, however, maintained a relentless pace throughout the evening, utilizing a balanced scoring attack to pull away and secure the district victory. Temple’s defensive unit fought hard to stem the tide, but Midway's transition game proved to be the difference-maker.

The Wildcats will look to bounce back and find the win column as they return to the road.
