The Temple junior varsity played a single game with Austin High on Thursday evening at Wildcat Stadium. The Wildcats started fast with an early 14-0 lead in the first and cruised to a 26-0 victory over the Maroons.

Offesnive highlights for the Wildcats included Landon walker with a 75 yard TD run and a 1 yard TD pass to I’Zoryan Soto; Travarius Williams with 10 carries for 60 yards and one touchdown while I'Zoryan Soto had 2 receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown. Paul Lindsey also connected with Landon Gandara for a touchdown pass.

On the defensive side of the ball, Dra’Shawn Smith had 5 tackles 1 pass breakup while Teiaurione Thomas had 7 tackles and one tackle for a loss. The defensive line as a unit had 6 total sacks.

Temple will return to action next Thursday when they will travel to Killeen to take on Shoemaker High School with games at 5:00 and 6:30.
