In consecutive weeks against Round Rock and San Antonio Reagan, Temple made key mistakes — most notably having kicks and punts blocked — and faced second-half deficits but responded with game-changing plays and clutch performances to earn hard-fought wins for its first 3-0 start since 2018.
Although first-year head coach Chad President certainly wants his Wildcats to solve the problems that have hindered them, he’s impressed with how Temple has overcome those errors to keep stacking victories, including last Friday’s feisty 40-33 home win over Reagan.
