Thomas Wolfe, the man who wrote the 1940 novel “You Can’t Go Home Again,” obviously couldn’t envision the makeup of the current Temple Wildcats coaching staff.

Temple graduates who meet the qualifications not only long to return home, but are welcomed with open arms.

And there are plenty to go around.

Currently, former Wildcats make up 21 members of the athletic department, with 16 at the high school and seven are head coaches. The high school football staff alone sports eight ex-Wildcats, including first-year head coach Chad President.

Good luck finding an athletic department that can make that claim or perhaps even want to make that claim.
