Only a few months later, he had emerged as a second-team All-District 12-6A center who helped the resurgent Wildcats win seven games and reach the playoffs.
“At the start of last season, talking about first-team all-district, second-team, honorable mention . . . shoot, I would have taken any of them,” Douglas said Tuesday inside Temple’s Athletic Performance Center. “I didn’t know I was going to get it. I just played my game.”
