The Temple Tennis Team competed in the district 12 -6A tournament on Monday and Tuesday.

The girls doubles team on Genevieve Allen and Lydia Livesay made it to the finals before falling. The team finished 2nd and will compete at the Region 2 6A tournament.

The boys doubles team of Cristian Arroyo and Xavier Johnston made it to the semi finals and won the 3rd place match, but did not get a playback match.

In boys singles, Keegan Dutton finished 1st as district champion. This is his 2nd district championship and will be his 4th year competing in the Region 2 6A tournament.

The boys team won 2nd in the team competition.

Other match winners include Kyra Williams/ Mallory Jarrell, Abigail Jones, Steven Jones, Preston Myers/Kevin Jie, and Jack Carr/Summer Nguyen.

The Regional tournament will be held May 7-8 at Waco Regional Tennis Center.
