HEWITT - Playing their final game of a two game series, Temple and Midway got strong performances from their starting pitching on Tuesday night at Midway. Cisco Gonzales on the mound for Temple and Brady Quinn for Midway. Both pitchers limited their opponent to four hits, but Midway it was able to take the 3-1 victory over the Wildcats.

Cisco Gonzales went 6 strong innings and gave up 4 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out for batters and walking four. Brady Quinn tossed 7 innings of 4 hit ball and struck out 8 Wildcats while giving up the one earned run.

Gonzales also picked up 2 of the 4 Wildcat hits while Xavier Tools was 1-3 with an RBI and Reece Medrano was 1-1 at the plate.

Temple 1-2 in district play returns to action o to start a two game series against the Kangaroos.
