The Wildcat baseball team dropped two games in the Langham Creek Tournament on Friday. The Wildcats fell to Langham Creek by a score of 10-2 in their first game and fell to Cy Falls by a score of 5-1 in game 2.
In Game 1, Temple fell to the host team Langham Creek 10-2. Temple had six hits in the game with Xavier Rayas going 1-1 with an RBI and run scored while Xavier Tools was 1-3 with a double and run scored. Cisco Gonzales, Jacob Perez, Champ Mayo and Jaden Fuentes each had hits for the Wildcats. Isaac Lara took the loss on the mound going 4 1/3 innings giving up 6 earned runs on 12 hits.
Game 2 saw Temple fall to Cy Falls 5-1. Jacob Pere went 2-4 at the plate with an RBI and Cisco Gonzales was 2-4. Also for Temple, Xavier Rayas was 1-2 with a run scored and Xavier Tools was 1-3.
Cisco Gonzales went the distance on the mound going 6 innings, giving up 3 earned runs on 5 hits while striking out five.
Temple (1-10-1) will return to action on Saturday when they will face Summer Creek at 10:00 am.
