The Temple Tem-Cat soccer team defeated Killeen High School on Tuesday evening by a score of 2-0 at the Temple Soccer Complex.
Following a scoreless first half, Sterling Griffith put the Tem-Cats on the board with a goal in the 62nd minute.
The Tem-Cats played well and continued to control much of the contest and in the 74th minute, Emory Corley was able to punch in a second goal of the night in traffic to extend the Tem-Cat lead to 2-0.
Skylar Licudine and Arianna Reigle split time in goal for the Tem-Cats and shared credit for the shutout.
Temple will return to action on Friday with a road match at Bryan beginning at 7:15.
