Ryan Johnson serves as an Assistant Football Coach and U.S. History teacher at Temple High School. A native of Belton, Texas, Coach Johnson graduated from Belton High School and continued his education at Trinity Valley Community College, Tarleton State University, and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, earning a degree in Exercise Physiology. Entering his third year in education and coaching and first year in Temple ISD, he is committed to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field. Coach Johnson and his wife, Shonda, have been married for one year. He is inspired by Vince Lombardi’s quote, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence,” a philosophy that guides his approach to teaching and coaching.
