Ryan Pinkerton serves as the Head Baseball Coach and Running Backs Coach at Temple High School and is a MAPS teacher. Originally from Cypress, Texas, Coach Pinkerton graduated from Langham Creek High School before earning degrees in Sports Management and General Business from Texas Tech University. Entering his fourth year in education and coaching, he is passionate about developing student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. Coach Pinkerton and his wife, Emily, have been married for three years and are the proud parents of their son, Walker. He is inspired by the quote, “The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him,” which reflects his commitment to serving others, building strong relationships, and leading with purpose.
