Tobin Thurman
Tobin Thurman
serves as the Head Boys Cross Country Coach and an Assistant Coach for
Volleyball and Track at Temple High School. Originally from Winnsboro, Texas,
Coach Thurman graduated from Winnsboro High School before earning a degree in
Kinesiology and Exercise & Sports Science from Texas Tech University. With
22 years of experience in education and coaching, including his third year at
Temple ISD, he also teaches Advanced World History. Coach Thurman and his wife,
Leigh, have been married for 14 years and are blessed with five children. He is
passionate about helping students and athletes reach their full potential and
believes that success comes from removing self-imposed limitations, striving to
be the best version of yourself, and embracing a mindset where anything is
possible.
