Fernando Zuna serves as an Assistant Coach for the Temple High School Boys Soccer program and teaches Edgenuity/Credit Recovery. Originally from Leesville, Louisiana, Coach Zuna graduated from Leesville High School before attending the United States Military Academy, where he earned a degree in Latin American Studies. With 17 years of experience in education and coaching, all within Temple ISD, he has dedicated his career to helping students and student-athletes overcome challenges and achieve success. Coach Zuna is guided by Theodore Roosevelt’s famous “Man in the Arena” philosophy, believing that true success belongs to those who have the courage to step forward, take risks, and persevere through adversity. His commitment to leadership, accountability, and personal growth has made a lasting impact on countless students throughout his career.
